At last, I have finished my Storybird and published it below for you to enjoy. I enjoyed this task and can see how using a simple technology such as this could be integrated into the classroom. Storybird could be used as an assessment piece, after working on narratives (characters, plot, climax). It could also be used to assess sentence structure, spelling and particular aspects of grammar and syntax. I think it is an excellent resource and I will endeavour to use this on my prac.
A fine young man. on Storybird

Great use of the story book there Madison. I also think that is an excellent resource that you can use to get children to express their emotions in a creative way whilst developing their literacy skills at the same time.
The way of the future!
Thank you anonymous blogger. I am glad you enjoyed my story. It is indeed a great way to get students to express how they feel. I think it is an even great literacy tool for many reasons.
Feel free to read some of my other posts and comment on those if you have any feedback.
The website is Storybird is you wish to use it. And remember, it's free!
Thank you for your comments.
Oh Madison, I have to say AWesome attempt at Storybird as well as at authoring a book! Your book had me in stitches ;)
Thanks Deb. I spent way too long on it thinking up a story with the pictures, but then again, that's how one learns isn't it? Learn by doing! Gald I could brighten your day!
I love the red wine and potato chips - where did you get your inspiration??
I love it! And I think one of them was an Indian girl? I'm now inspired to try my hands at Storybird! Thanks, Madison.
everyone drinks red wine with potato chips. don't you? Just kidding, I went off the picture.
Rosh, let me know if you try Storybird, I would love to read your story!
Hi Madison
I tried to do a Storybird but couldn't work out how to use it! I am not that great at working out how to do some of these applications. I wanted to put one in my final post but ended up using a different one. You will see it on my blog.
Yours and everyone elses are great! Well done! Maybe everyone can show me how to use it.
Cindy
